About the Foundation
Financing a college education is sometimes the most difficult barrier aspiring artists and designers face. All too often talented young artists are prevented from living up to their potential by circumstances beyond their control – often resulting in an inability to afford the education necessary to help them unlock their abilities.
The Philip J. Steele Arts Education Foundation was created to help these kinds of artists overcome financial obstacles on their path to becoming a professional artist or designer.
Why Give?
Both organizations and individuals contribute to the Foundation for a number of reasons. Some feel a debt of gratitude for the high-quality education they received, and others give so that future generations of students can have the opportunity to pursue their passion and self-actualization found only in the pursuit of the arts.
Your support is an investment in the future of the visual arts – and the students it serves – that pays dividends far into the future.
Other Benefits of Giving
Your contribution is tax deductible. The Foundation also offers a variety of recognition opportunities for annual contributors and those who are able to give at higher levels.
With an annual gift of $100 or higher, you will receive a silver lapel pin. Depending on your level of giving, you will be recognized in the Annual Report as members of the following:
- President’s Club – For annual contributor’s of $100 - $499
- Director’s Circle – For annual contributors of $500 - $1,499
- Founder’s Circle – Recognizing annual contributors of $1,500 and above
