Marianna Bagge
Ms. Bagge grew up in Finland appreciating art & design from her early years on. Her family has a long tradition in glass blowing, jewelry & textile design and fine arts. She won some competitions in her youth with her landscape photography pieces and participated in some shows.
She joined Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in 2001. Marianna has close to 20 years of experience in sales, recruitment and enrollment management experience form various colleges and universities. Currently she works in local, regional, national and international markets promoting RMCAD.
Britt Bayer
Mrs. Bayer was born in Finland and went to school there and studied languages. Since 1988 she has been involved with her husband Javan Bayer’s photography and Herbert Bayer’s art, cataloging and sending works to shows and dealing with galleries and museums.
Ricardo De Olivera
Mr. De Olivera graduated from Rocky Mountain School of Art in 1970. After working in the Design industry for a few years he founded De Olivera Creative Incorporated. As President and Creative Director De Olivera grew the Firm to an eight-person award winning Design Firm with emphasis as a Creative Result Oriented Corporate Design for the next 35 years.
He returned to Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2006 where he teaches Typographic Design, Design Concepts and Methods, Experimental Typography and 3D Packaging.
Susan M. Koalenz
Ms. Koalenz is the Vice President for Business and Planning at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. She serves as Chief Financial Officer at the college and leads the strategic planning efforts. Prior to joining RMCAD, she was a Financial Analyst at the University of Denver and was formerly the Controller at Oregon College of Art.
Maria Segura-Page
Ms. Segura-Page is a marketing, advertising and public relations executive with over 25 years of industry experience in South America and the United States. She is founder, owner and President/CEO of Yema Media Hispanic Advertising/YemaEXPO.
She moved to Denver, Colorado in 1996 to pursue higher education. A native of Bogotá and a U.S. citizen, she is fluent in Spanish and English.
Steven Steele
Mr. Steele is the President of Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. He is also a practicing artist who creates three-dimensional works and sculptural installations which use mixed media including items such as light, motors, water, and sound.
Mr. Steele currently serves on the following boards: Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, Philip J. Steele Arts Education Foundation, West Colfax Community Association, Arts Link Jeffco, Isaac Solomon Synagogue Foundation, and the International Council of Design Schools.
Mr. Steele holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University, School of Visual and Performing Arts.
Courtney Stell
Ms. Stell has dedicated the past ten years of her life to contemporary art.
She has worked for the Denver Art Museum, the Laboratory of Art and Ideas, and the Camera Obscura Gallery among others. Cortney is the Director of the Philip J. Steele Gallery at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Her personal mission is to actively engage audiences in thought-provoking experiences of art, culture, and society.
